Several means of
communication will be used to keep parents informed of EXCEL programs
and activities. Information sheets will be distributed on a regular
basis to inform parents of upcoming programs and activities. Notices
will also be posted near the sign-out area describing any immediate
information. An EXCEL website is available at www.ptc.dcs.edu/EXCEL/Index.htm
Since all families are provided on-site internet and email
capabilities at no charge, information can also be distributed
electronically. The Decatur City Schools EXCEL Project Director,
Sandra Calvin, will be available at 552-4393 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
to answer questions or discuss concerns. Additionally, Ms. Calvin can
