The students got to study about how different countries from around the world celebrate Christmas. A few of the Christmas celebrations studied were Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, and Kwanzaa. The students learned a lot about people from around the world. The Volunteer Center also donated Christmas presents for all of the children. Each child got a Christmas present to take home on the last day of EXCEL in December. We also went to the movie theater and saw The Polar Express. Everyone loved getting to go watch this movie.
