On May 22, the Somverville Road EXCEL Program had a field day for their students. They got to participate in many different kinds of games. They had a card that was their "ticket" to do the different activities. They could go to each activity two times. Once that activity was circled two times on their ticket, they had to go on to the other activities. There was approximately nine activities to choose from. There was also an icecream table set up. The children really enjoyed that part. To their disappointment, they were only allowed to go to this activity one time. Many parents also came to the field day. This was a very exciting day that brought the children, their parents, and the EXCEL staff closer together.
