Third Grade Violin Program

The Symphony School of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra is pleased to bring the Third Grade Violin Program to Decatur City Schools.  The program provides ten free introductory lessons to every third grader in each school.  The lessons, taught by artist-faculty from The Symphony School, use a curriculum based on the highly successful Suzuki Violin Method, which begins with the premise that every child can learn.  Over 6,000 students from Decatur City Schools have had the opportunity to participate in this program.
