Automotive Service Technology
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY I — is designed to introduce
students to the field of Automotive Service Technology. The first
semester will consist of training in the areas of shop safety, basic
shop tools and equipment, and Electrical/Electronics I. Second semester
training will be in the areas of Electrical/Electronics II and Brakes
I. NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation)
certified program and instructor. NOTE: Students must complete all
of the tasks assigned in this course before they can advance to
Automotive Service Technology II.
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY II — is a continuation
of Automotive Service Technology I. The first semester of this course
will consist of training in the areas of Brakes II/Suspension and
Steering, with the second semester concentrating on Engine Performance
I. NATEF certified program and instructor. NOTE: Students must complete
all of the tasks assigned in this course before they can advance
to Automotive Service Technology III.
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY III — is a continuation
of Automotive Service Technology II. The first semester of this
course will consist of training in the area of Engine Performance
II, with the second semester concentrating on Engine Repair/Heating
and Air Conditioning. NATEF certified program and instructor.
