Internet Access Systems

Internet Access through the Alabama Supercomputer Authority with a 5 MB link.

The systems that support Internet access are as follows:

Apple Xserve Email Server
Dell PowerEdge with Windows 2003 Servers supporting student management software
Cisco 7206 router supporting WAN T-1 lines
Cisco 1721 routers supporting LAN T-1 lines
Cisco PIX 515e Firewall
McAfee Webshield

All schools (18) within the district are interconnected via the WAN to the Office of Information Technology via T-1 lines.
