Transportation runs 16 Regular routes daily and 12 Special Needs routes daily.

We transport approximately 975 students daily.

Since the Transportation Department has been providing service to the students of Decatur City Schools, it has been awarded numerous Bus Safety and Inspection Awards by local safety officials as well as the State of Alabama.

Mrs. Cowan is very proud of all her employees and their excellent record.

They are a very caring and efficient group.
