Cake Decorating/Advanced

1.  Tips:  1, 3, 5, 14, 67, 81, 101, 103, 104, 352

2.  Icing Colors:  Yellow, purple, greeen, pink for the first night

3.  Lily Nail Set

4. Fondant Foam

5.  Fondant Ball & Vein Tool

6.  Two boxes of white fondant

7.  From your kitchen:  Apron, scissors, 2 empty paper towel rolls (cut

     lengthwise), shoe box and plastic gloves (last night only!)

8.  One recipe of Royal Icing (prepared)

             

         Royal Icing Recipe

3 level tablespoons Meringue Powder

1 lb. (4 cups) Confectioner's Sugar

5-6 tbsp. lukewarm water

    Make sure all utensils are grease free. 

Mix Meringue Powder and Confectioner's Sugar on low until blended.  Add water and mix 7-10 minutes at a low-medium speed until icing loses it's sheen.  to prevent drying, be sure to cover the bowl with a damp cloth while working with icing.

Chair Caning/Lace Weave

A small chair or stool (cleaned out!) , ice pick, wood glue and bucket

Knitting/Intermediate

Students will complete project(s) of their choice:  scarf, pot holders, etc.  (Students may be able to complete more than one project depending on the student.)

1.   A pair of single pointed knitting needles (the long ones).  Size 8, 9 or 10 is recommended.  The circular knitting needles will work also.
