BRIDGE/SUPERVISED PLAY

Do you want to brush up on your bridge skills?  This class is for those that know how to play bridge, but still need some help.  Instructor will monitor bridge playing, reconstruct hands and offer constructive criticism, as well as answer questions. No class November 12.

Beginning:  October 29 – Mondays – 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.            

Fee:  $40 for 6 weeks

CAKE DECORATING/ADVANCED

A continuation of Cake Decorating/Beginning.  This three night class will teach you how to make royal icing flowers and how to use fondant to make spectacular professional looking cakes.

Fee:  $20 for 3 weeks – Materials:  $5 payable to instructor

CHAIR CANING/LACE WEAVE

Learn to do beautiful “lace caning” yourself and avoid the high cost of having your antiques repaired.  Bring your small chair or stool (cleaned out), ice pick, wood glue and bucket.  Cane and pegs can be purchased from instructor.

Do you want to learn to line dance?  This class is designed for the beginning line dance student.  Have fun and enjoy the aerobic benefit of line dancing.  NO heels, high heeled boots, metal or plastic tapped shoes!  Soft soled shoes ONLY!  Singles welcome!

Beginning:  October 30 - Tuesdays - 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

FLORAL DESIGN ADVANCED (NEW!)

An in-depth study in the art of floral design.  Each week will target a specific element of floral design.  Leave each week with a floral design you created using the principle of design.  Taught by an Award Winning floral designer.

Improve your German in this enjoyable class.  Beginning German or some basic skills required.  No class November 12.

More Spanish to improve your skills in this widely spoken language.  For those who have had Beginning Spanish class or who have some basic skills in Spanish.  No class November 12.

WILL AND ESTATE PLANNING

Do you have a will?  This class will explain why it is so important to have a will, what to include in a will and getting a will probated.  Also discussed will be the value of estate planning.  Taught by an experienced attorney with a degree in Tax Law.

Beginning:  September 13 - Thursdays - 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Fee:  $20 for 2 weeks

YOGA/BEGINNING

This gentle physical exercise is becoming increasingly popular because of its many health benefits, which include increasing and maintaining flexibility and muscle tone.  Perfect for those who need an exercise routine which does not place adverse stress on bones, joints, muscles, etc.  Also recommended for the older person who wants to begin a regular exercise program.  Bring a mat.
