Welcome to First Grade and Miss Ducker's Class

Hi, welcome to my class web page. My name is Miss Ducker and I began teaching at Benjamin Davis in 1998, after I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!!). I got my master's degree from UAB. I taught Kindergarten for four years. Everything I needed to know I learned in Kindergarten. I became a teacher because of my kindergarten teacher, Miss Wine. She had so much fun teaching and I wanted to be just like her. I am now on my 6th year of teaching first grade and having so much fun. I love first graders! Take a look at the cute bunch I have this year.
