Hello! I am Joan Addison, the reading caoch at Eastwood.  I am married and have two children, who attend Auburn University. I have taught for 28 years, three of those as a reading coach and 25 years in the classroom.  My responsibility as a reading coach is to provide professional development, train all teachers in ARI research-based instruction of reading and to plan and implement this instruction in the classroom.  As teachers of reading at Eastwood, we believe all children can learn to read.  Our goal is to provide the tools necessary for our children to succeed to the best of their ability!
