Kross Ties

Students at Benjamin Davis created tie designs for our new principal, Mr. David Kross.

It will be our new tradition for the 2nd graders to design and paint muslin ties that Mr. Kross will wear during the year while the Kindergarten and 1st graders create their ties on paper for the "paper Mr. Kross."

        

First we selected a theme for our tie - illustrations for events in each month, school subjects or seasonal ideas.

Then we worked out our ideas on a paper tie to solve any design problems that might come up.

At last we got our final tie, heavy white paper or muslin and transferred our design to it.
