Hello and Welcome! This is just to let you know a few things about me!

My teaching career began in Jacksonville, Florida with a fifth grade class. After two years at the beach we returned to Decatur and I spent several years teaching Special Education in Decatur and Hartselle. Then I was hired at Austinville Elementary in Decatur and there I stayed for 10 years teaching fifth grade. Eventually I found my way to the Magnet School and third grade- the best grade of all!

I have two beautiful children. Nik is 21 and Abbey is almost 19. I also have a brand new kitten that we have named Luigi.

About two years ago I decided that I needed to play golf and now that is how I spend a lot of time! I also read every single day!
