Leon Sheffield Literacy Lab is a busy place. Our students research the Internet and explore other cool sites. Learning activities are available in math,

reading, language, and phonics. Leon Sheffield has a technology curriculum and objectives for grades Pre-K through 5th grades.

I am a Decatur High School graduate. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Athens State College. I was selected to Who's Who Among Colleges and Universities. I believe teaching is a calling and learning should be fun. I am a member of King's Memorial United Methodist Church. I have one son,  Edward M. Ellison.  I consider it a blessing to work in the same school system that I was educated in.
