Amazing events and exciting discoveries are constantly occurring in third grade. We've started a new reading program called Open Court and it has introduced us to various literature genres. Violin lessons were a greatly appreciated event in our classroom.During our violin lessons Open Court played an interesting part in the learning process. Students were able to write about composers and their major works. Our math skills are constantly being honed by the MMI strategies our school employs such as Estimation Station which is a school-wide endeavor where students might estimate the length, width, or capacity of an object. Our writer's notebooks are waiting to record the events and discoveries yet to happen.
