Hello! My name is Shannon Posey and I am a first grade teacher here at West Decatur. I am a 2001 graduate of Athens State University where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I have taught second grade for one year and first grade for six years. Here at West Decatur I am also a member of the Building Leadership Team. I have lived outside of the Decatur area all of my life. I love to teach and spend time with children. In our first grade classroom, we are dedicated to becoming skillful readers, writers, thinkers, and mathematicians. We are having a great time along the way! |
