My name is Shelly Potter and I teach 2nd grade here at West Decatur. I graduated from Athens State University in 2001 with my degree in Elementary Education. This is my first year to teach at West Decatur. I have taught 4 years previously with the Lawrence County School System. I love working with children and watching them learn new things.
