3M Makes Donations to Austin High School

Dr. Rebecca Morlando, 3M plant manager, presented Tina Lawrence, Head Girls' Volleyball Coach, and Dr. Snow, Austin High School's Principal, a check for $2,000 to purchase regulation nets for the team.

Dr. Rebecca Morlando presented Tina Lawrence and Susan Giguere of the Austin High School Science Department a check for $3,600 for the purchase of software for the Austin High School Science Department lab. Mrs. Giguere said, "The Vernier Lab Pro is a tool that can be used with a computer or a TI graphing calculator for data collection in the science classroom.  The  various probes will allow the science classes to collect information like temperature and pH change, voltage, heart rate, light, etc. The variability of this tool allows it to be used in every science class offered at the high school level."

Dr. Snow also received a check for $5,000 for the purchase of the Austin High School student planners.
3M provides planners for every student for the school year.
