New Spirit Shirts are available to order. Your first period teacher has order forms. You can order either black or orange shirts, or one of each! Shirts are $12.00 each. Money is due with the order form. Deadline to order is August 31, 2007. Turn money in to Mrs. Swann, Mrs. Page or Mrs. Lovett. Be sure to write on the order form whether you want a black or orange shirt. Please be sure to mark the proper size, some sizes are youth sizes, so mark the proper size. If you order the wrong size it can’t be changed after the order is here.

Attention all class officer candidates: There will be a mandatory meeting Friday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Dixon’s room. If you do not attend the meeting, your name will be marked off the ballot!

Any student needing service hours can see Mrs. Lawrence in E-17. Coach Lawrence needs volunteers to help with our home tournament on Saturday. Please volunteer!!!

All Key Club members from last year need to see Coach Lawrence in E-17 Thursday or Friday.

Both Volleyball teams travel to Florence tonight to take on Florence and Muscle Shoals. Good Luck Lady Bears.

Tonight our Varsity Football team takes on Hartselle for the season opener. There will be a caravan leaving at 5:00 from the Jones Gym parking lot. If you have a ride and would like to travel with the caravan meet at 5:00. We will not furnish rides. Good Luck Bears.

Are you a student leader? Are you part of a youth group? Do you want to make a difference in your community? Decatur Youth Service is offering a unique opportunity for girls in grades 10-12 to participate in this Points of Light Leadership Institute. Please come by the guidance office to sign up. The last day to sign up will be Friday, August 31^st. The leadership institute will meet on Tuesdays, starting Sept. 4^th – Dec. 31, from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. All participants MUST have transportation to and from the institute.
