ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Students interested in joining Interact Club should pick up an application from Mrs. Duffey is S-4 by Oct 2^nd. Essays and applications are due Oct. 3^rd at the first Interact meeting. Interact is a service club open to all grades.

• Attention Jr. Civitan Members: If you are interested in becoming an officer, sign up in Mrs. McNair’s room (S6) before Tuesday 10-02-07. The officers to be filled are President, vice-President, Sec. Treasurer, Public Relations Coordinator, Historian, Sergeant-at-arms, and Chaplain. Go by Mrs. McNair’s room for a description of duties for each office. Also, make sure you attend the next meeting to vote.

• Attention Jr’s. And Sr’s.: The college fair will be tonight night at Calhoun from 6-8 pm. Please attend if you need to take a college day this year.

• Any student interested in trying out for the girl’s or boy’s tennis teams need to see Coach Walker in S-14 to sign up.

• Do you feel like on Spirit Fridays you need a little more spirit? Then FCCLA has the thing for you. Spirit flip-flops may be purchased before or after school from Ms. Gonzalez for $10.00. You can pay Ms. Gonzalez, Mrs. Gregg or Mrs. Edwards.

• Sophomores trying out for Key Club need to stop by Coach Lawrence’s room E-17 to see their interview time. Sophomores will NOT meet during club time.

• Attention all sophomores: There will be a float meeting this Sunday at 3 o’clock at St. Luke Methodist Church.

• National Honor Society members are reminded to sign up for Habitat house work this weekend by the end of today outside M-13. Work will be 8-2, Saturday the 29^th.

• Tickets for the Austin vs. Russellville football game will be on sale in the cafeteria during lunch on Friday. Student tickets are $5.00. All tickets at the game are $6.00. GO BEARS!!!!!

• Attention Seniors: if you have not received a graduation supplies packet needed to order your graduation supplies, please see Mrs. Thompson in the Drama room A-4,or Ms. Stroh in E-2. Orders and money will be due on October 10^th.

• There will be a freshman class float meeting this Saturday from 3-6:30 at Joey Carters house. Please check the freshman bulletin board for details and directions.
