ANNOUNCEMENTS

- Golf tryouts for boys and girls will be on November 26th at
Strike Zone Driving range and Nov. 27th at Point Mallard Golf
Course. Tryouts will start at 4:00. If you have any questions please see
Coach Shannon in S-1.
- Mrs. Montgomery’s Chemistry classes need to meet in her classroom today
instead of the lab.
- Basketball season passes are now on sale. Adult passes are $40.00 and
students $30.00. Mrs. Debby Crowell will be selling the passes from 12:00
– 1:00 during lunch today. Our 1st home game is tonight against
Muscle Shoals. All tickets will be $5.00 at the gate.
- FCCLA members remember your STEP 1 quizzes are due to Ms. Gonzalez by 3:00
tomorrow. Be sure to complete and turn in to get recognition.
- All students that have registered to take the ASVAB Career Exploration
Test need to report to the cafeteria Tuesday morning at 7:50.
- Softball evaluation and tryouts for the Austin Varsity and JV teams will
be held starting Nov. 26 at the Austin softball field. New players coming
out should report at 3:30 and will finish about 5:00each day for FIVE DAYS.
Basketball players wanting to come out, will tryout after your basketball
season ends. The teams will be selected after five days of tryouts.
- Students who need a schedule change for Second Semester MUST see their
Guidance Counselor immediately. The counselor will give you a Schedule
Change Request form that must be completed with appropriate signatures and
an explanation for the request.
Valid reasons for a schedule change: Already passed Second Semester of
course you are currently taking. Need to pass Second Semester of a course you
are not currently taking. Add a course required for graduation (seniors). Reasons
schedule change requests will be denied: You want a different teacher or
class time. The course is too difficult. The move will result in an over-crowed
class. Schedule changes for Second Semester must be completed now! Schedule
changes may not be available after Second Semester begins and will not be made
during the first week of the Second Semester.
