ANNOUNCEMENTS

December 3, 2007

• Tennis tryouts will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4^th thru Thursday, Dec. 6^th at the Wilson Morgan Courts. Tryouts will be from 3:30-5 PM each of the 3 days. Please see Coach Walker or Coach Duffy if you have any questions.

• Boys soccer tryouts will be held Dec. 10, 11, and 12 on the Betty street field from 3:30 until 5:00. To sign up see Coach Flannigan in room J10 or Jones Gym.

• December 6^th is the Can –A- Thon. Please start bringing in your cans to 1^st period. For every 15 cans you bring in, you will receive a homework pass. The top 10 first periods will have a movie morning.

• All ladies on the Homecoming Court need to see Mrs. Montgomery TODAY to get picture proofs. These must be returned Wed. 12/5.

• The cross country team thanks everyone for the support of the Frosty Freeze 5K. Kyle Smith was the top Austin boy finisher. The top 3 Baseball finisher were Jacob Johnson, Jake Morgan and Riley Howard. Monica Jenness was the top finisher for both Austin Girls and Girls Soccer. Other top girls soccer finishers were Joy Bolding and Rachael Tuell. Thank you to all who ran or volunteered to help.

• Anyone interested in running track in the spring needs to sign up out side Coach Reed’s room B-16 by Wednesday, December 5, 2007.

• After receiving Superior scores at the District Trumbauer (trum-bough-er) drama competition, Roy Chase, Katie Gilhooly and Elise Robinson traveled to Troy University to compete at the State competition. A very special congratulations goes out to Elise Robinson for placing 3^rd in the Novice Solo Musical Female Dramatic category.

Austin was well represented by these three students.
