GTO AWARDS

The AHS Thespian Club (Drama) applied for, and received a "GIVEN-THE-OPPORTUNITY" GRANT for the 2005-2006 school year. With the money awarded, drama students will purchase books, develop character voices, and record the stories on cd. The sets of books and cds will be given to Austinville and West Decatur Elementary Schools. Their students will use the books as a means to help them with their reading skills. Accepting the grant were Thespian Club Officers: Meredith Wiggins- president, Kayla Willingham-secretary, Miranda Slaughter-treasurer, and Josh Blair-vice-president.
