Pictures will begin at 5 pm. You must have a ticket for pictures.

Appointment sign-up sheets for pictures will be outside Mrs. Haughaboo’s classroom (E7).

Seniors may begin signing up on Monday, March 31

Juniors may begin signing up on Tuesday, April 1

Lead out will begin at 9 pm. Participants must be in line by 8:45.

Seniors will need to line up down the hall in the gym where the art rooms are located.

Juniors will need to line up down the hall where the family and consumer science rooms are located.

All seniors who are eligible to attend prom are invited to participate in lead out.

Any junior who has worked at least 10 hours on the prom as of Thursday, April 17th are also invited to

participate in lead out.

When you arrive for lead out, please check the lead out table to fill out an announcement slip. Keep the

slip with you because you will need to hand it to the announcer when it is your turn.

NOTE: No one under the age of 14 may participate in lead out.

Each senior who is participating in lead out will receive at least four lead out passes to distribute to their

families or friends. Students who are attending prom, but not participating in lead out will not need a lead

out pass, they will simply use their prom tickets to watch the procession.

All lead out pass holders should enter the gym door next to the cafeteria. Once inside, they should remain

seated in the bleachers. These guests will be asked to leave at the conclusion of lead out.

Lead out passes must be picked up in person—you may not have a friend pick them up for you--on Friday,

April 18 from 11:30-4 pm in Ms. Dixon’s classroom between classes or after school.

Any passes that have not been given to seniors will be distributed to Juniors who have worked 10 hours as

of Thursday, April 17. These juniors may begin picking up passes at 5 pm at Jones Gym. REMEMBER:

Juniors are not guaranteed passes—our ability to provide passes to the juniors is based on how many

passes are left once the seniors have received theirs. If they receive any at all, the juniors will receive lead

out passes on a “first come, first serve” basis.

Prom tickets will be distributed at the door on Prom night from a list of those students who have either sold

magazines or purchased tickets.

Tickets are $30 each.

Prom tickets may be purchased from Mrs. Haughaboo, Mrs. Holmes, or Mrs. Page beginning on

Wednesday, March 26.

NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ON THE NIGHT OF THE PROM—THEY MUST BE PURCHASED IN

ADVANCE!

Prom sponsors will have a list of those who have sold magazines. However, in order to see if you need to

purchase a ticket for you and/or your date, please refer to the chart below:

Remember that the prom is a formal event and proper behavior and attire is required. Please no blue

jeans, t-shirts, or caps (of any type—including top hats) for those attending Prom or lead out. Males will not

be allowed to remove tuxedo shirts at any time during the event.

After 9 pm there will be no passes to leave the prom.

Remember that the prom is a school sponsored event. Therefore school and board policies will apply.

Anyone attending under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be turned over to the Decatur City Police.

All students attending prom must be eligible to attend according to the student handbook, code of

conduct, and Decatur City School Board policy.
