As the Coordinator for Developmental Programs for Decatur City Schools, I am privileged to work with an exceptional faculty and staff as well as an exceptional group of students.  I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1981 with an emphasis on students with disabilities.  It is really a "dream come true"  to be the administrator of Decatur High Developmental!!

I grew up in Hueytown, Alabama in a large family with five sisters and one brother.  I met my husband, Charlie, while a student at Auburn University.  We married in 1981 and have two sons.  Ben is a recent graduate from Auburn and is an engineer in Birmingham.  Scott is a junior at Auburn studying Supply Chain Management.  Our family enjoys meeting in Auburn for home football games.
