Hello everyone!  My name is Suzie Terry.  I have a B.S., in Communication Science Disorders from the University of Montevallo and I attended graduate school at Memphis State University.  I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 18 years.  I worked for Shelby County Schools and Birmingham City Schools for 10 years before being blessed with my job here in Decatur City Schools. I currently serve children at Austinville and Chestnut Grove Elementary Schools, Austin High School and Decatur High School Developmental Program.  The highlight of my school year is when the students at DHSDP come to my house for a cook-out. We swim, play with the animals, ride 4-wheelers and best of all... feed, brush and bathe my horses!  The joy on our student's faces is worth all the hard work for us all!! 

  I have 2 beautiful daughters, Brittany (19 years old) and Delaney (9 years old)   My favorite pasttime is riding horses with my family.  We are all members of Trinity Baptist Church.
