Hello and welcome to Mrs. Tabitha's web page.  My name is Tabitha McLaurin.  I am the newest member of the Decatur High School Developmental staff.  I count it all joy and a blessing to be able to serve your children.  Although this is a new chapter in my book of life,  I know that I can do all things though Christ who gives me strength.  I have been employed by Decatur City Schools for 4yrs.  I am the 2006-2007 Local ESP/AEA President.  During the 2005-2006 school year I was a Building Rep. for the Paraprofessionals (ESP's) at Leon Sheffield.  I am an Alumni of Alabama State University.  I was a member of the ASU Symphony Band where I sat 1st chair in the woodwind section.  In 1992 I also graduated from the National Career College with an Associates Degree in Professional Accounting.  I am currently taking courses at Ash worth College out of Nor cross, GA.  I am majoring in Early Childhood Elementary Education.

My husband is Randolph McLaurin who is a native of Bennetteville, SC.  We have seven children. We are faithful and dedicated members of Victory Christian Center located in Trinity, Al.  I am a minister at our church.
