The Brookhaven Middle School Library strives to have a welcoming atmosphere for the students and faculty.  We provide access to information for the school, strengthen and support the curriculum, and promote literacy and the enjoyment of reading.  We are available for book checkout, AR tests, and research.

Hours:  The library is open each school day from 7:45 till 3:15.

Checkout:  Each student gets to visit the library bi-weekly with his/her Language Arts teacher to checkout books.  Books are checked-out for a two-week period.  Books may be renewed for longer, if necessary.  Also, students may come to the library anytime during the school day with a pass from a teacher.

Fines:  We charge 5 cents per school day for late books.

Collection:  The Brookhaven library has a collection of approximately 15,000 books!  Some of our students' favorite authors are:  Sharon Draper, Walter Dean Myers, J. K. Rowling, Anne Schraff, Lemony Snicket, and

R. L. Stine.
