Welcome to Brookhaven Middle School's website!

We are proud of our school and happy that you have taken the time to visit us online.

Brookhaven Middle School is located in the city of Decatur, Alabama.  We serve a wonderful community in Northern Alabama, known as the Tennessee Valley.

Our staff takes pride in the personal, caring relationships that we develop with each of our students and their families.  Our school and community believe we have a duty to enhance the success of all our children by helping to develop self-worth, self-respect, and responsibility which connects them to their communities in meaningful ways.

At Brookhaven we provide a strong academic program with extra curricular activities.  We work to motivate students who:

• have respect for themselves and others
• are motivated to attain high levels of academic achievement
• interact and play cooperatively with their peers
• understand the importance of a healthy life style
• interact respectfully with members of their community. 

Our school strives to be the heartbeat of this community.

We are blessed with a top notch staff, a central office staff, a parenting coordinator, and a nationally recognized SRO program that are dedicated to providing the best educational program for our students.
