Building Based Student Support Team (BBSST)

What is BBSST?

    A designated school-based committee designed to meet the need of general education  students at-risk of failure due to academics, behavior, or drop-out.  BBSST plans are for regular education classes only. BBSST is not used for students on an active IEP or 504, IB or AP classes, Gifted classes, or Magnet classes, or any other "honor" or advanced class of choice. It is used for students with chronic academic and/or behavior challenges in general education classes, career technology, and alternative education classes.
