Report Cards and Grading Scale

Report cards will be distributed every nine (9) weeks.  A mid-nine weeks' progress report will be provided to each student by his or her teachers.  The intent of the mid-nine weeks' report is to keep students aware of their progress and to give them ample opportunity to improve their grades.  They should be taken home, signed by parents, and returned to the teachers.  Letter grades are given based on the following scale:

 

                                   97 - 100       A+                        77 - 79          C+

                                      

                                   93 - 96         A                          73 - 76          C  

                         90 - 92         A-                         70 - 72          C-

                         87 - 89         B+                        67 - 69          D+

                         83 - 86         B                           63 - 66          D

           

                         80 - 82         B-                          60 -62           D-

                                                                          Below 60        F
