New Teacher Academy

This 30 hour workshop is for all non tenured teachers who have not previously attended this required activity. Any teachers new to Decatur City Schools and beginning teachers since 1998-99 must complete the workshop before receiving tenure. The first three days (18 hours) will be devoted to Classroom Management and the beginning of Effective Teaching. An additional 12 hours will be scheduled during the school year.
