Faculty Web Mail Tutorial

You must have a valid Decatur City Schools email account to use this service

To access your email account via the Web Mail interface you need to point your browser (Internet Explorer or Safari) to one of the following three sites:

On any of these pages you will find a link to the Web Mail interface named "Faculty Web Mail." Clicking on it will take you to the following screen:

Logging into your account (QT movie)

  1. In the box to the right of "Email address:" enter your full email address. (Note: You MUST always use the same address, do not leave off any part of the address)
  2. Press tab to move to the next field
  3. Enter your password into the box to the right of "Password:" (Note: Your password is case sensitive and should be entered in lowercase)
  4. Click on "Login & Check Email"
  5. A successful login will result in a screen similar to that shown below.

NOTE: All incoming mail that is not saved into a folder will be deleted upon logout. See information under "Folder Manager" in the help section for details on creating and managing folders.

Exiting Web Mail

  1. Click on "Logout" found in the lower left hand portion of the screen
  2. Exit or Quit your browser (Internet Explorer or Safari)
