Deleting Folders
A folder must be emptied of all files before it may be deleted. Use the file deletion procedure to remove files from within a folder. Once all files have been removed and you are ready to delete their folder:
1. Click on Choose... (upper right part of the window) to open the Choose File on Website dialog box.
2. To the right of your site's URL (http://www.dcs.edu/....) you will see three folder icons.
A. Folder with an upturned arrow: moves you up one level within your website.
B. Folder with a plus symbol: creates a new folder within your site. Note: if you wish to nest the new folder within an existing folder, you must open an existing folder first. When naming files, do not use spaces in the folder name (nor in file names either).
C. Folder with a circle/slash: this icon deletes the highlighted folder. Note: highlight the target folder then click on the delete folder icon.
