	Copy blackline master of snail outline and make stuffed puppet snails; write a short story and share; follow steps in manual for creating stuffed snails
	Snail art: Make paper snails using strips of three or four different lengths into circles; paste circles inside one another to form the snail's shell; cut a separate strip for the snail's body and glue shell in the middle; add pipe cleaners for antennae. Make fingerprint snails; students make a number of fingerprints from a stamp pad; turn into snails and draw snail habitats; write sentences to describe snails
