Materials Needed:

book

pebble or small rock for each student

paint supplies

What to do:

1. Read the book to the group.

2. Lead a discussion using the following:

If I had a magic pebble like Sylvester, I would ...

My life would change because ...

3. Pass out a pebble to each student and allow him/her to decorate it. ( acrylic paints work best)

4. Make a group list of adjectives describing the painted pebbles.
